Entertaining at Ripley Castle 2008
When you book your event at Ripley we want you to be certain that there are no hidden costs.
The menus are inclusive of the following items and are costed on a per head basis:-

A red carpet arrival
Full use of the Gardens and Castle for photographs - Ripley Castle has extensive grounds and stunning rooms in which you can take memorable pictures during yourdrinks reception.
Champagne: All receptions include Champagne with a soft drink alternative. Our house champagne is Champagne Lassalle which, like Ripley, is asmall family run estate. The Champagne is predominantly from the Pinot Meunier grape (as is Krug Champagne) and a balance of Pinot Noir. Plenty of bottle ageing before release has produced a champagne of great flavour and depth, yet at the same time giving elegance and style. We can also arrange other drinks to suit your personal choice and budget.
Your choice of menu: We enclose the current menu selection and are more than happy to discuss your special needs and wishes - our chefs love a challenge! You can create your own menu from our selection if you so wish - all we ask is that you choose one menu for your guests. Wherever possible our produce comes from the Estate or local Yorkshire suppliers.
Wine selections: These are detailed under each menu and give you three choices of recommended wine, each priced separately, to be served with the Meal. All our wines have been chosen by Sir Thomas Ingilby and range from the excellent value 'cellar choice' to the superb wines from our sommelier's selection.
Water: Both Still and Sparkling water are available during the meal.
Toastmaster: Our Front of House Manager will act as your toastmaster during your special day
Floral Arrangements: Floral arrangements with the Main Rooms of the Castle and on the tables are provided by our team of in-house florists. Included in the cost are seasonal flowers with additional greenery from our gardens, the design of which can be tailored to your requirements. Dependant upon the choice and design of flowers, additional costs may be incurred. In addition to the inclusive flowers we can also provide your own personal flowers such as bridal bouquets, button holes and corsages.
Linen: White table linen. Other colours can be sourced at an additional cost.
Cake Stand and Knife: We have a silver square sixteen inch cake stand available and you are also welcome to make use of our sliver knife or authentic sword.
Late Bar: We have a late bar license to enable your guests to enjoy the entertainment until 11.30pm
Castle guides: We provide excellent and charming guides to bring 700 years of History to life for your guests during your Drinks Reception.
Castle Facility Fee: The charges for use of rooms within this ancient and historic building are included and value added tax at the current rate of 17.5%. Where there are special requests for extra rooms then an extra facility fee may be required.
