MEET OUR NEW HEAD CHEF:-
We are delighted to welcome Kevin Kindland, our new Head Chef, to
The Boars Head Hotel. Kevin joined us in January and has been busy
developing and training his brigade of six chefs, covering the Bistro and
Restaurant, with his expertise in modern European dishes. He is working
closely with many of the local producers that surround the hotel and
supply us with the finest local seasonal produce as well as produce from
the Castle’s own Kitchen Gardens. Kevin’s cooking style is fresh and combines fine blends of flavours with traditional cooking methods to prepare delicious dishes. He looks forward to welcoming you to The Boars Head.

Our 3 night package starts with afternoon tea on Christmas eve and the chance to visit Ripley church for the special nativity service. A Gourmet dinner with Champagne reception will be served.
After breakfast and the opening of numerous presents on Christmas day, a traditional lunch is served. The day is finished with a light buffet supper in the evening.
Boxing day provides the opportunity to attend "Ripley Races" a race day held in the Castle's, with a picnic lunch. A 3 course dinner in the restaurant brings Boxing day to a close. There will be a guided tour of the Historic Ripley Castle followed by a farewell lunch in one of the Castle's private dining rooms.
New Years Eve 2010-2011...........£475.oo per person
Our Celebrations begin on Thursday 30th December with afternoon tea served in the hotel Drawing rooms. There is a drinks reception follwed by a 4 course dinner in the evening.
Begin New Years Eve with a hearty Yorkshire breakfast and then take the opportunity to take a leisurely walk around our Deer Park or Lakes.
The evening commences with a Champagne reception follwed by a gourmet menu served in the restaurant. For those still in a celebratory mood, why not have a dance in the Boars Head Bistro.
Start New Years with a Full Yorkshire breakfast, then take the opportunity to attend our "Ripley Races" in the Historic Ripley Castle. Dinner is served in the hotel restaurant.
After breakfast on Saturday your stay will be completed with a guided tour of Ripley castle and a farewell brunch in one of the Castle's private dining rooms.
