Tea Rooms:-

The Castle Tearooms are just across the road from the Gift Shop. Picnic table outside the enterance enable our guests to enjoy the sunshine and a cup of tea while watching the world pass by.

The Castle Tearooms are open all year round and extend the same friendly but efficient hospitality to everybody that walks in; local residents, visitors to the village, shoppers, ramblers, cyclists and the occasional passing equestrian.

The menu includes Breakfast rolls, Salads, Jacket Potatoes and Sandwiches all made with locallly sourced ingredients and we have a special children's menu. Speciality teas and coffees and hot chocolate can be accompanied by a selection of cakes, scones or biscuits. Cream teas are offered, featuring freshly baked scones, jam and cream.

Thirsty four-footed guests - we get quite a few of them here - are thoughtfully catered for through the provision of dog bowls. Thirsty two-footed guests get a better choice of liquid refreshment as the premises are fully licensed which enables you to enjoy a refreshing glass of wine or ale with your meal.
