Special Tours of the Castle - daily at 1.30pm until 31st August 2008

Children aged 5 – 13 years and accompanying adults are welcome to join our special tours for children.  They will be introduced to seven hundred years of Ingilby family history by experienced tour guides.  They will hear about family members involved in A Wild Boar Hunt which nearly killed the King at that time, religious persecution, The Gunpowder Plot, Civil War, Oliver Cromwell, Family Tragedies and hear about eccentric ancestors and ghost stories.

The tour last about one hour.  Booking is via The Ripley Castle Gift Shop on the day of your visit.
