Twelfth Night at Ripley Castle 17th June - 13th July
Sprite return for their fourth season at the Castle with the comedy Twelfth Night. Once again, the company will use the promenade style of theatre, which leads you through the castle grounds, to re-create Shakespeare's comedy involving the mistaken identity of two twins. As with all Sprite shows, the high production values and unique but faithful way of working with Shakespeare's text will mean that you view this play, and the grounds of Ripley Castle, as never before.
You can picnic next to Ripley Castle's lake before the show, sip a glass of chilled wine in the evening sunshine. And then watch as one of Shakespeare's favourite comedies unfolds before you. "Be not afraid of greatness: some are born great, some achieve greatness and some have greatness thrust upon them". Act II, Scene V
